Imagine being completely satisfied every time you look in the mirror. A wrinkle-free skin, sensual lips and defined facial features. Weight loss, age, environmental influences and genetics have a strong impact on facial features. Wrinkles or sunken areas make the face look older than it is or make the facial expression appear grim. With derma fillers such as hyaluronic acid, our experienced specialists in plastic and aesthetic surgery are able to inject wrinkles and support the volume of the jawline or cheek region. Find out now what is possible with hyaluronic acid and other derma fillers and how they can change your face.

Do you have the desire to have fuller and more sensual lips, defined cheeks or want wrinkle-free skin? With derma fillers, these wishes are no longer unattainable. Wrinkle injections or volume augmentation are performed with derma fillers that result in a more youthful appearance. Hyaluronic acid is often used. In our clinic, the MEDICAL INN center, we use products from JUVEDERM®. The special feature here is that the fillers are already provided with a mild local anesthetic. This minimizes pain during treatment, so you will hardly feel a thing - even without additional anesthesia.
Dermafillers are intended for men and for women who want to improve their facial features such as lips, cheeks or chin, or reduce the signs of aging on their face. So, the treatment with fillers is suitable for every person who is over 18 years old.
As we age, the fat on our face gradually diminishes. Although this may sound like a good thing to some of us, fat is what makes us look more youthful. It smooths the skin and makes the face firmer. If the fat cells become fewer, the facial features can become sunken and the skin loses tone. To replace this lost fat, derma fillers can be used. This is done primarily in the areas around the eyes, mouth and cheeks. We give sunken areas renewed tone and an aesthetic contour with this treatment. Of course, it is also possible to balance the volume in the face after a significant weight loss.
Wrinkles also appear more frequently due to the decrease in fat cells. Especially in the forehead area (frown line), around the eyes (crow's feet) or in the area around the mouth. However, even if your genetics have not provided the volume in the lips or around the cheeks or jawline that you find beautiful, derma fillers are a good solution. An overview of the most common treatment areas for derma fillers:
● Forehead wrinkles
● Nasolabial folds (wrinkles from the corners of the mouth to the wings of the nose).
● Lips (volume enhancement as well as definition of the lip heart).
● Nose (balancing of humps or bumps).
● Scars including acne scars (balancing depressions).
● Chin
● Jaw bone
What's special is that dermal fillers can even conceal dark circles under the eyes. As a result, your look will be more alert and friendly, and your eyes will stand out more.
You first discuss with one of our experienced plastic and aesthetic surgery specialists which areas you would like to be treated and how you would like your result to be. We will then choose the filler that is best for you. Although the manufacturer puts a local anesthetic in the filler, we apply a light numbing cream to the areas to be treated. As a result, you will hardly feel anything from the treatment. We leave the cream on for a few minutes. Using the finest cannulas, we inject the fillers into the appropriate areas of your face.
After the wrinkle injection or volume building, slight redness or tiny bleeding may occur. Swelling is also possible. These will recede over the next 3 days and you will be able to see the result in the mirror.
BOTOX® is a muscle relaxant that helps smooth the fine lines that appear with age. It represents one of the most widely used active ingredients in the field of anti-aging. It does not add volume to the skin, but minimizes wrinkles by relaxing the muscles.
In contrast, fillers such as hyaluronic acid restore volume. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body and is found in joints, skin and tendons. It binds water to itself, creating the filling effect. By adding volume, wrinkles can also be minimized. Primarily, we use the sugar molecule to build up the volume of the lips, the cheeks and jawline, or to compensate for a hump in the nose.
The result is visible immediately. Swelling slightly distorts the result at first. It may take up to 2 weeks before you can see the final result. Often the swellings go down after about 3 days.
The skin reacts completely differently to the treatment. In some patients the treated area swells only slightly and in others a little more. However, you will notice that these swellings start to recede after about 3 days. You can support this process with cooling.
The recovery time is very short. You can go about your usual activities immediately after the treatment.
You can have the wrinkle injection or volume augmentation performed at any time. We recommend that you schedule the treatment sufficiently long before important occasions or afterwards so that any swelling or redness does not make you uncomfortable.
The goal of derma fillers is to accentuate your beauty in a subtle way and reduce the signs of aging. The best results are those that harmonize with your facial features and balance volume. Some patients desire more volume than others. Depending on your preference, the results will be very natural. If you want a little more volume, others may notice that you had treatment. We adjust the amount of filler individually to your wishes.
Potential side effects include mild hematoma, redness, swelling, tenderness and itching. There may also be a slight uncomfortable feeling around the treated area. However, this all depends greatly on the patient's initial condition. All possible risks and complications will be explained to you during a personal consultation.
If the results do not meet your expectations, this is not a problem. Hyaluronic acid and BOTOX® recede after a few months, so after some time the result is no longer visible. If you do not want to wait that long, we can use active substances that reverse the effect of hyaluronic acid.
