One of the biggest problem areas for women are the thighs. Sagging skin or cellulite is perceived by many as unaesthetic and leads to a low sense of comfort in your own body. With the thigh lift, this excess tissue can be removed. As a result, you will have slim, youthful-looking and shapely thighs. Get more information about this surgery now.

Thigh lift can improve the appearance of the thighs. This is especially desired by women who have sagging connective tissue due to genetics or after pregnancy or weight loss, or who suffer from cellulite. Out of shame, they often hide their legs and do not want to show them to anyone. Through the procedure, the tissue will be tightened. The tightening can also be performed together with a liposuction. This combination is often chosen by women who have stubborn fat deposits on the outer thigh (so-called saddlebags).
If you desire slimmer and firmer legs, make a personal consultation appointment at our clinic, the MEDICAL INN center. During the consultation you will outline your problem area and your wishes. Based on this, your consulting plastic and cosmetic surgeon can determine which treatments are suitable for you. Afterwards you will receive a detailed explanation of the procedure. You are always welcome to ask any questions you may have. Once the consultation is complete and you have made your decision, you will schedule an appointment with our team for the thigh lift.
On the day of treatment you will again receive all important information. The lifting takes place under general anesthesia and lasts about 2-4 hours, depending on which areas of the thigh are being lifted and whether you are having liposuction performed at the same time. You will receive compression pants after the surgery. These support your tissues and can reduce swelling and bruising. Typically, you will stay 1 night in our clinic for monitoring. You will be able to go home the next day. We recommend that you wear the compression pants for 4-6 weeks to support your skin and tissues. In addition, this will allow your skin to better adapt to the new shape.
The swelling, redness and hematomas will recede in a few weeks. You' will then be able to see the long-term results. To support wound healing, we recommend that you take it easy for 1-2 weeks. The earliest you should resume your exercise program and heavy physical work is after 4 weeks.
As an alternative to surgery, we offer you the option of tightening your thighs with BTL EXILIS™. This method combines laser treatments, Thermage, cryolipolysis and radiofrequency treatments. This means that no invasive procedure is necessary for this. You will be able to go home immediately afterwards and will not experience any pain. There is also no need for compression pants. You can learn whether this treatment is suitable for you in a direct conversation with our specialists.
It depends on your workplace when you can return to work. Low-level physical activities are possible again after approx. 2 weeks. Should you be engaged in physically demanding activities, you should take a 4-6 week break. During your personal consultation or after treatment, our team will tell you an exact time period.
As with every surgical procedure, scars will also occur with a thigh lift. However, our experienced team will place the incisions in such a way that the scar is as invisible as possible.
We recommend a 1 to 2 week rest period in which you do not work. During this time you will give your body time to recover. Afterwards, you can resume light physical activities. After approximately 4-6 weeks, you can slowly resume heavy physical activities. You should also wear the compression pants for 4-6 weeks to give your skin the best possible support.
There are very few risks and complications associated with thigh lift surgery. If they occur against expectations, infections, hematomas or wound healing problems may occur. If you notice these signs, please call us or visit MEDICAL INN center directly.
